Rotator

PHR Lower Waterneck Adapter (rotator) for 1993-98 Supra

The 2JZ engine was not designed for single turbo setups, although in todays world, we all know single turbo is the king of the 2JZ world. The return inlet from the radiator was not oriented to accomodate big singe turbo setups, and therefore with it's position, we can have some real problems installing a top notch turbo manifold.

The Powerhouse Racing Lower Waterneck Rotator is a great solution for  turning you waterneck away from your turbo and manifold, and down behind the alternator away from problems.

Lower Radiator Hose

When you are going single turbo, and need some space, you utilize the PHR lower waterneck rotator. And then you combine it with this lower radiator hose.

Thermostat

Crack Temperature, Aka. Opening Temperature

The "crack temperature" refers to the moment when the thermostat begins to open, akin to a door "cracking" open.  This is also the temperature rating that is stamped in the thermostat and is how the automotive industry classifies the opening temperature.

Fully Open Temperature

marks the point at which the thermostat is fully open, allowing maximum coolant flow. See the fully open temperature in the product specs at the bottom of the page.

Range

A thermostats range is the tempeature range between Crack temperature and Fully Open Temperature. Effectively, this should be the operating temperature range of the cars cooling system.
